What if we see the desert as a chance to find an oasis?

Deserts… there’re many types and each one of them has its own characteristics. But for one moment, let’s think about the deserts we go through as humans.

We weren’t meant to live in a desert, they’re:

  • – Suffocating
  • – Exhausting
  • – Seem eternal
  • – Dangerous
  • – Painful
  • – Lonely

No doubt, we all have been through, are going through or will be going through a desert. We can’t forget that we must keep walking. These deserts have their purpose, beginning and end.

Think about this for a moment: Only in the desert we can find an oasis.

An oasis is that place in the middle of the desert where we can find water and vegetation. Which means, it´s a place to get food, rest and wellbeing.
So if you are going through a desert, why don’t you see it as a chance to find and oasis?

In the Bible, the desert is mentioned, and how hard it is. But it also says that God, as a father, promises to be with us in every moment of our lives.

If you are away from God, just run to Him. He’s waiting for you with His arms open, to give you food, rest and wellbeing.

Please read these verses:

““Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭NIV‬‬

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.””

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
